Tokenized stocks
What xStocks are, what they aren't, and when they can't be traded.
What they are
A tokenized stock is a token, issued by a third party, that tracks a share's price. The ones in Tokri's baskets are xStocks, issued by Backed.
What they aren't
They are not shares: they carry no voting or other shareholder rights. Their price can differ from the share's, especially while US markets are closed.
Pauses
The issuer can pause or freeze a tokenized stock, for example around a stock split. While it is paused it can't be bought or sold.
